Belati Berkarat, an extremely pissed off, political hating & Social Distrust themed band from Blitar city, East Java, Indonesia. barrels through the grindcore circuit, proving a serious genre defying statement. this is Nonstop the implosion of acid spitting vocals and volcanic drumming eruptions, the guitars are just a mere wave of static. The music is always in the right time signature. It all fits together. The guitar tone is very dirty and crusty which adds a lot to the guitar riffs and trem parts, it gives it that whole wall of noise quality to with most grind is how the bands tend to throw everything can together and how it rarely fits and destroy. this mixplay crushing between Terrorizer, Rotten Sound, Gride, Nasum, The Berzerker, Leng Tch'e, Blockheads and Mumakil. still havecaustic, angry power. It’s as reductive a power as ever, but it still hits right in the belly when bands like this get it right.

The backbone of Wormrot has always been Herry SIC for fucking everything, and his tone on this record is amazing. Very dense, fuzzy, unforgiving. As for the playing goes, the riffs are definitely memorable enough so that the whole thing doesn't just more become 30 minutes of white noise. He draws from all the different grindcore roots, from thrash metal to hardcore, sometimes more brutal, other times a bit more melodic, but always groovy as all hell. I don't think it'd be a dangerous assumption to make that every grindcore riff has already been written and recycles a hundred times over, given the long history of grind, the amount of practitioners of the style, and sheer amount of songs on basically any given grindcore release. So how exactly should a grind guitarist go about sounding "good" in this day and age? To tell you the truth, I have no clue. It's very thrash- and punk-inspired, with a good amount of powerviolence thrown into the mix. But the riffs still manage to sound aggressive, which I'm sure is exactly what he was striving for as he wrote his parts. Catchy, too. A good riff in any form of music has to be catchy enough to stick in your head. Grind fans will eat this up. Fans of other extreme music, give it a shot; if you're gonna give grindcore a shot, this is certainly an album to listen to for perspective. Belati Berkarat: KEEP GRINDING, dudes.
